Turkish Cypriot songwriter and singer Salih Can Doratli was born in Germany in 1982 and moved to his home country, Cyprus, in his early childhood. Since the age of 6, he has been playing various musical instruments, of which he mastered the most has been the piano. A lawyer in profession and a graduate student in visual arts, Doratli has managed to combine his semantic language skills with years long musical experience in his debut single, Kavgam, where his recently acquired graphic designing know-how is also prominent in the album’s cover photo.
