Kalif

Born to Somali parents in Copenhagen and traveling the world in his youth, Kalif's art represents his multidimensional identity and variety of influences. Melody, intonation and atmosphere is the crux of Kalif's music. An amalgamation of Lofi hip-hop or calm hip-hop and trap with slight elements of RnB, the contrast is clear from one song to the next. Going from mellow and melancholy to 808 banging controlled chaos, the contrast and contradiction is on full display.
