Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Rapper SadBoySmoke always knew he wanted to pursue music seriously as a career and not just as a childhood hobby. He started rapping in juvenile prison when he was 11, freestyle battling other inmates and occasionally writing rhymes to help pass the time he was serving.
