Uncle Tino was born and raised in the heart of Houston, Texas. At the age of 14, Tino decided he wanted to be an emcee, found a niche in poetry, and joy in making people feel good through his words, and began to grow as a musician. Throughout his school years he managed to release music, 2 EPs (pirate EP, FPOTD EP), and an album (Deadlines) under the name of "MC i Ckan Ryme," a once joke turned stage brand, until it was time to rebrand and transition into “Uncle Tino” in 2018.
