A Red Idea, the moniker of Venetian artist Alvise Forcellini, brings together a quirky songwriting style, unpredictable instrumental diversions, and a voice that seems to have just woken up from bed, singing disheveled about how life can be surreal and bittersweet, often in the same moment. Drawing inspiration from lo-fi songwriters and psych-folk, Alvise writes and records his music alone, playing all the instruments: guitars, bass, saxophones, mellotron, and old analog synths.
