Stoned Morose is a three piece stoner/sludge/doom band headquartered in Florida. Led by vocalist/guitarist Jay Stoned, and rounded out by Joseph Nicholson on drums and Matt Thompson covering bass duties, Stoned Morose take a less is more approach to songwriting, with low and slow passages peppered with dark emotions and guttural vocals. Their debut EP "Pure Hesher Doom" was released on 04/20/23 to critical acclaim and have seen them performing all over the Southeastern United States with bands like Weedeater, October Noir, Dayglo Mourning, Red Beard Wall, Hollow Leg and Drifter.
