A revival and update of the turn-of-the-millennium hardcore/nu-metal sound, Canadian band Trench blends thrashing guitars, dissonant electronics, growling vocals, and fusillades of drum fills into a brutal but not wearying combination featured on notable releases including their debut album Condition (2017), the EP Encased in Chrome (2022), and the guest-heavy Between Inverted Worlds (2024).
