Conceived in the womb of the shadows of suburban North Carolina, Darkest is one man, lone wolf black metal operation perpetrated by E. While originally conjured in 2007, the band released only one demo entitled Bla Komet Lyss and then entered a thirteen year hiatus. At the end of this period of fiery trials, tribulation, and dancing with Death, E arose from the ashes and revived the band. In October of 2021, a six track EP entitled Descension was released as the inaugural premiere of Darkest. Within a year, a follow up EP From The Darkest Grave was released in May of 2022.
