Born October 20, 1990, Ma'neen grew up in a time when the dancehall genre was at its boldest. Ma'neen identifies as a 90's rude bwoy with an undeniable eloquence and charisma that hides his skewed sense of morality. As an artist, he enjoys fusing authentic sounds of reggae and dancehall with his own renditions of jazz, afro-soul, and even pop.
