Maiya Hershey is an experimental Lebanese-Argentinian sound designer and new media artist based in Portugal. Her musical journey, although initially rooted in classical piano, has evolved to encompass a rich variety of sounds influenced by elements of nature, field recordings, and long ambiences. Hershey often experiments with synthesizers and digital production tools to craft soundscapes, frequently sampling from her own field recordings.
