MC Jaboin (Marc Jaboin) was born to Haitian parents in Queens, NY, coined “The World’s Borough,” and developed a love for music at a young age. Growing up in Brooklyn, he discovered global influences from West Indian to Eastern European music and sounds. While exposed to different cultures, he gravitated towards tropical sounds, including reggae, zouk, konpa, salsa, merengue, and mariachi. Alongside a strong hip-hop influence from growing up in NYC and a taste for rock and roll, MC began playing the guitar at the age of 11.
