Aoife Joyce is a conceptual project, based on the life of an Irish composer and artist working in the field of installation art and neo classical music. Raised in Donegal, much of her work explores landscape and heritage, a sonic visualisation of her family's past on the Aran Islands. The Shortest Path Home, Aiofe Joyce’s first full length album, is a tribute to the past, particularly an exploration of her ancestors who spent most of their lives living and working on the Aran Islands.
