Armando Aguilar aka King Mando is a Mexican – American Latin artist born in San Jose, California. Being a son of immigrants, he confronted various struggles growing up. However, he was able to overcome these struggles with the help of his mother’s faith. Mando hoped to solely focus on becoming an entertainer after high school. However, a teacher encouraged him to join the Year Up program. Although Mando was attending this program, he was not willing to give up his dream of becoming a recording artist.
