About Pinebarren
Hailing from Vancouver BC, with members from around the world, Pinebarren mixes a multitude of influences to create nostalgic/modern indie rock. The Tinnitist described the band as "blending a myriad of styles and eras, mixing and matching everything from glistening new wave keyboards and muscular post-punk basslines to anthemic arena-pop." Friends Michael Ferraro, Allard van der Knijff, Adam Terris and Jinmo Kim formed the band in 2020, working throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to hone their sound and style before releasing their first single, Without the Weather, in the spring of 2022.
