Charlotte Church (born Charlotte Maria Reed) is a Welsh vocalist, songwriter, actress, and television personality. At age 11, she performed Andrew Lloyd Webber's Pie Jesu via telephone on the British television show This Morning. That spot, and a performance on ITV's Big, Big Talent Show, led to numerous concert appearances, a voice scholarship to Howell's School Llandaff in Cardiff, and a recording contract with Sony Music.
