About Izit
Rare UK groove revivalists of the early 90s whose name stemmed from a technological mishap; when they were sampling the word ‘music’ their sequencer messed up and looped ‘Izit’ instead. They enjoyed breakthrough success with ‘Stories’, on their own Pig & Trumpet label in 1989, a version of the rare groove staple originally recorded by Chakachas.
