About Atanas Ourkouzounov
Atanas Ourkouzounov, a Bulgarian composer and guitarist, was born in 1970 in Bourgas. He began his musical studies with Dimitar Doitchinov in Sofia before moving to France in 1992 to continue his education under Arnaud Dumond, Alexandre Lagoya, and Olivier Chassain. Ourkouzounov earned a first prize at the Paris National Conservatory for Music and Dance. He won several prestigious awards for his compositions, such as his 1997 works "Michele Pittaluga" and "Paolo Barsacchi."
