About Hourglass
Progressive rock/metal band Hourglass emerged out of Utah in 1999, blending complex yet melodic song structures with the precision and drive of metal. Started by guitarist Brick Williams the group was prolific during its first decade. Once John Dunston joined in 2001 the band had a world-class drummer that has been a major contributor to the bands sound over the years. Their most ambitious project was 2009's double-disc Oblivious to the Obvious. After a 13-year gap, Hourglass returned in 2022 with the epic single "Void Within” which is part of their upcoming album Voids and Visions. B...
