Robinson Malinga (08 November 1968 - 25 December 2017) best known as Robbie became a South African singer, songwriter and producer. Malinga was instrumental in developing the musical skills of many South African artists including Kabelo, Arthur Mafokate, Mzekezeke and many others. His greatest interest was in Afro-Pop music where he worked closely with Kelly Khumalo. Robbie was born in Meadowlands township, Soweto.
