About The Nightdrivers
In December 1981, five good friends in Torpshammar, Sweden, joined together and started a band. They called themselves Nightdrivers and the name was taken from a Ventures- tune called Night Drive. Influenced by 50's rock'n'roll & country artists like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, guitar bands like The Ventures and later revival acts like The Blasters, Dave Edmunds and Matchbox their reportoir started to take form.
