About De Meisjes
De Meisjes is the brain child of Auke Hulst and his brother Hans Hulst, both writers and multi-instrumentalists. The pair have been writing songs together since the age of ten, recording thousands of home demos without ever releasing a single song. Only after Auke recorded his solo debut The Hidden Shape (2009) did Hans take the initiative to form the line-up for debut album Beter Dan Niets (2012).
