About Kane's River
The Rocky Mountain bluegrass group Kane's River first consisted of Jerry Nettuno on mandolin, John Lowell on guitar, and Dave Thompson on bass. Banjo player Julie Elkins was added to the band later to round things out. All four talented members add harmonizing vocals and help out with the job of songwriting. Kane's River formed in 1994, in Bozeman, MT. The act originally used the name Deep River -- and seems to still use it at times, though the band's record label list them as Kane's River.
