Bobus is the musical alter ego of filmmaker Alistair I Macdonald, one half of not quite legendary Sheffield techno outfit Mind and Body, who briefly gigged in the 1990s, and Emergency Bongo, who never quite made it further than the studio. Drawing on Berlin School sequencer patterns, acid house basslines and vintage drum machines, Bobus records music high in the West Yorkshire Pennines.
