Although his time in the industry was brief, New Kids on the Block associate Super Mr. Marvelous managed to release one rap record in the mid-'90s. Whether the influence of friend and producer Donnie Wahlberg had any effect on his career is questionable, but after the two met, Wahlberg became enthused by the prospect of producing Marvelous' first record, perhaps to further separate himself from the disastrous reception to the New Kids' Face the Music.
