Cinnamon Tapes is the stage name for São Paulo-based singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Susan Souza. Her debut album 'Nabia' was produced by Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and recorded in Hoboken, New Jersey, at the studio where Sonic Youth made their last albums. The 9 track album has Shelley on drums and also features the musicians Emil Amos (Holy Sons, Grails, Om) and Paulo Kishimoto (Riviera Gaz, Forgotten Boys, Pitty).
