Cairo Liberation Front (CLF) is the eclectic musical vehicle of producers Joep Schmitz and Yannick Verhoeven. Two geeky, somewhat naive Dutch devotees of Egyptian electro-cha3bi, that blossomed into an infectious musical exchange between artists from both the Middle East and Western Europe. Since their genesis, CLF’s rousing DJ sets and headstrong punk rock ethos earned them worldwide recognition, most notably from The Guardian, the New York Times.
