About Rocky Block
Rocky Block started playing drums in his father's lap as a toddler. Born and raised in Nashville Tennessee, there was no question from a very young age that he was born to play music. With his father, a famed Nashville TV/radio personality, drummer, and manager and his mother a talented blues artist he was immersed in records old and new at home, and sat on the stairs during countless of his parents' rehearsals in the home studio downstairs.
