Key, what e whaler sono cresciuti insieme e, fin da ragazzini, appassionati di hip-hop, iniziano a scrivere i primi testi. Contemporaneamente nasce la KND crew (KidsNextDoor), composta da otto membri che, in seguito, cureranno insieme il progetto. Nel 2020, il beat-maker Diebonsai entra nel gruppo definendolo e concretizzandolo. Nello studio di "CasaDellaNonna" a Cibali registrano il primo disco, interamente auto-prodotto dalla KND, mixato e masterizzato da Tomato Sauce Records, e in uscita a maggio 2024.
