About Deep Forest Drive
Scott Smith began writing music as Deep Forest Drive in 2012 while living in a small town just outside the southern gate of Yosemite National Park. Their songs aim to blend personal experiences with the striking and inspiring scenery of the greater Yosemite area. His debut album, In Memoriam, was recorded by Dryw Owens at Little Russia Recordings in Sacramento, Ca. Currently residing in Fresno, Smith is self producing music out of his home studio and taking trips to the Sierra Nevada mountains whenever he can.
