About King Wine
King Wine are a Gameboy pop duo from Glasgow, Scotland. Formed in 2013 by poet Ruthie Kennedy and stand-up comedian Craig Wilson, they have been affectionately described by The Skinny as 'Glasgow's best kept secret.' All their songs are made on an aging Nintendo Gameboy, out of which they wrench eccentric and anthemic earworms, with observational and tongue-in-cheek lyricism. With their matching outfits and bedroom choreography, King Wine aim to give their fans the best time, every time, and only half-sarcastically refer to themselves as 'the best band in the world.' ...
