About Andreas Gerth
Andreas Gerth , also known as Loopspool, is one half of the electronic duo Driftmachine and a member of the Tied & Tickled Trio . He studied sculpture but left his former passion in the mid-90s to commit himself to sculpting new sounds. Within the Tied & Tickled Trio, he merged jazz with electronic Dub and various experimental influences alongside with The Notwist brothers & Johannes Enders. At the same time, there was an intensive collaboration with the spoken word artist Ted Milton (Blurt) at the turn of the millennium.
