Melanie Giselle is a Uruguayan-New Yorker multifaceted musician and vocalist who experiences music with an open lens. She comes from a broad background of influences such as jazz, punk, blues, post-punk, tango, synth-pop and has played bass and guitar in bands (Ligeia / Intolerable Life ) New York scene. Her transition to jazz vocals began after becoming enamored with the boundless nature of the genre, which took her to study formally in New York after performing as a solo artist in her hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
