About HKL
I’m a songwriter. HKL are the initials of my father, who passed away far too early. He always was the driving force behind my creative journey. I wrote Chartbreaker over 20 years ago and had very successful releases with Virgin, EMI or BMG. My most influential work to date, ‘It's Killing Me’, was performed by DJ Toxic in 2003, Heatbeat in 2015 (Armada) and Da Tweekaz in 2018 – and has reached over 20 million streams to date.
