About Liemba
Brighton based acoustic powerhouse Liemba combine classic folk routes with contemporary acoustic/rock influences. Imagine Crosby, Stills and Nash fused with Kings of Convenience, Fleetwood Mac and the Staves. Simon Gledhill, Nelson Day and Damian Best form the backbone of Liemba with their three-part harmonies and intricate guitar interplay. In 2019 Fred Hills (Michael Baker/ Ellie Ford) and Joe Woodham (Jouis) were brought into the fold to record a full band EP which marks the band's 5th independently produced release.
