About Frontier Theory
Frontier Theory was an American folk-rock band formed in Washington DC in 1985 and disbanded in Los Angeles in 1992. The group released LPs “Atlantic” & “No Waltz In The Meadow” on independent Top Records and a self-released untitled EP. They received national alternative/college airplay and performed extensively, garnering a SXSW showcase and a Wammie Award. The lineup included four brothers: Michael Kelley, vocals; Tim Kelley, guitars and vocals; Kevin Kelley, bass, guitar and vocals; and Robert Kelley, drums, percussion and vocals.
