DIA LUNA is both the sly alias of Mexican-American artist Andrea Diaz and the name of her project with her cousin, main producer, and engineer, Tomas Deltoro-diaz. Often compared to the art-rock chameleon, St. Vincent, with a voice as seductive and rich as the R&B icon Sade, DIA LUNA collages a variety of sounds and influences to create music that is both artful and familiar. After studying painting in New York, Andrea found herself enmeshed in music, playing local shows in Manhattan and beyond.
