Glass Sands is the recording alias of Chris Shackleton, a London-based alternative rock singer, instrumentalist and producer whose music combines disparate genres with poetic lyricism. His first release since the 2021 LP Better than Life, Northern Lights continues to expand Glass Sands' style with influences drawn from folk, post-punk and art-rock while its lyrics look to themes of global anxiety, love and loss.
