About Defod
Ritualistic sounds from North Wales, inspired by the landscape and ancient monuments. Defod began as a one man black metal project, incorporating elements of other influences and blending them into a range of pieces, from atmospheric, ambient instrumental tracks, to short aggressive and fast songs, and long, progressive soundscapes. In 2023, Defod became a live band and are currently playing gigs and festivals, and working on the next record.
