August 16th 1985, Laquontric Cortez Mcghee was born in the slums of Ruleville,MS. My mother knew that growing up in Mississippi would not give me all the opportunities as other kids in the country so she decided to move to Funky Town, Tx. At the age of 5 i knew that music was my life. My class was walking by the auditorium and I could hear the kids playing violin. I thought it was cool so when I got home I begged my mother to get me a violin and sign me up to learn how to play some music.
