MKTrio is an east coast alternative-jazz outfit comprised of Myles Kelley (keys), August Duclos (bass), and Owen Markowitz (drums). Formed as product of a high school friendship in Midcoast Maine and the upstate NY college circuit, the MKtrio plays improvised music inspired by modern players like mark Guiliana and Robert Glasper, with respect for the tradition of Coltrane and Freddie Hubbard.
