Indiejazz duo Blue Sands, consisting of bass guitarist Reindert Kragt (NL) and singer Esther van Hees (BE), proves that voice and bass can form an exciting and intimate combination. Their sound can best be described as cinematic, dreamy, and quirky, inspired by diverse sources such as Disney songs, 90s grunge, jazz standards and classical composers. Using bass, voice and a selection of effect pedals Blue Sands create their own little universes where they gladly welcome the listener.
