About The Joy Gospel Singers
The choir was born in 1997 from an idea of the managers and teachers of the Association "Amici della Musica - Prof. Piacentini" of Valenza (Italy), as an expression of the Choral Singing Class, one of the teaching courses music organized by the same association. In 2019, after 22 years of activity, the original group is dissolved and the activities suspended. However the project and its objectives find continuity and confirmation in the intent to keep alive the Gospel soul that made the choir one of the leading Italian ensembles in this musical genre.
