About Tuzla
Born from the shared artistic vision of Tuzla and Ümraniye, İstanbul, this music coalition was created by Yarkın and Tolga to introduce a distinctive sound to the Turkish music scene. The band’s music is rooted in post-punk and dark-wave, yet it continually seeks to explore new artistic territories. The project began within the music communities of Istanbul Technical University, where a shared desire to channel the gritty, dystopian vibes of their surroundings into a unique creative outlet took shape.
