Composed of the echoes of sonic renaissance from the 90s, The Contradictions have been bringing Grunge back into Memphis since the band’s formation. With influence from Queens of the Stone Age, The Foo Fighters, Alice and Chains, Metallica, and Soundgarden, the band has formed an emotional and heavy sound that rebirths the rebellious themes of “Our parents’” generation.
