About Dan Jogo
Brazilian-born Danann Silvestre and his beyond-borders sound is inspired by A.CHAL and Tribo 808. The half-sung, half-rapped records jump from Portuguese and English. Danann was raised in São Paulo and began rapping after being championed by fellow DJ William ‘Negresco’ Eclipse. He later moved to Europe with his family when he was 13 years old and started making beats in a local youth club. After high-school Danann moved to the US to pursue his dream of becoming a soccer player.
