About Marco R. Wagner
Grandson of an orchestra director of German descent, son of a Spanish painter and a Brazilian pianist, Marco was raised in Rio de Janeiro's 1960's art scene. He moved to NYC in 1980 to learn from all the styles we now call Americana and meld it with his latin and classical skills. He has been recording since the 90's. “140 Reasons” (2005), candidate for the Spanish Music Awards, yielded his acclaimed anti-war single Democratize that was featured on Neil Young’s website for years.
