About The WU
The WU (formerly known as Weather Underground) are an alternative three piece band from Dublin, Ireland, consisting of childhood friends Daniel Brady (Guitar/Vocals) Ciaran White (Bass/Vocals) and Daniel Kearns (Drums/Vocals). The band seeks to blend 60s influences such as The Who and The Kinks, with early 2000s alternative music such as The Strokes, The Libertines and Miles Kane. The WU’s DIY aesthetic stems from a plethora of influences outside these eras, from jazz to folk to electronic music.
