About Punchu
Punchu is an indie rock band from Whitby, Ontario. Formed in the summer of 2017, the band’s eclectic mix of post-punk, prog, new wave and emo songs quickly caught the attention of the local music scene. Dine Alone Record’s Chastity recruited the band to play one of the infamous Barn Shows in 2018, playing alongside Casper Skulls, Cleopatrick, and Chastity themselves. Punch members include singer/guitarist Nathan Fisler (formerly of Whitby surf punk band Surf Cactus) and bassist Jake Rowinski (Haply, Shortcuts, & Surf Cactus) as well as lead guitarist Geraden Smith and drummer Nick Power. ...
