No one knows the origins of The Ray Gun Riot since the closure of the Redstone Scientific Information Center, but it seems to have its roots in the atomic-obsessed, jazz heyday of the 1950s, the product of a top-secret rocket experiment conducted at Redstone Arsenal and the swinging after-parties hosted by Wernher von Braun. The Ray Gun Riot has no physical embodiment due to a rocket experiment gone awry, in which all four test pilots - jazz hounds, lounge lizards, and skirt chasers each -- lost their lives but not their spirit in 1958.
