Felipe Brito is a Brazilian Trombonist, Educator, Composer, and Arts Administrator. Felipe is the Assistant Professor of Trombone and Director of Jazz Studies at Southeast Missouri State University. He is also the Development Director at Amistad Caribbean Arts Camp in Cleveland, OH. “Não Deixe para Amanhã” (Don't Put Off Until Tomorrow) is Felipe's debut album. Using a modern jazz language, the project integrates Afro-Brazilian music genres such as samba, bossa nova, maracatu, and alujá.
